About this course

As the great philosopher Stephen Priest once stated, “The nature of personal identity is ultimately theological in nature. This is so because human persons are fundamentally related to God as ensouled images of God.” In this course, Dr. Farris will explore the meaning of what it means to be a person and a human in light of God’s revelation. He will also unpack some of the implications that impinge on a philosophy and science of human nature through a survey of Scripture and theology.
