Read MoreThere was a lot of information to learn about in the first MOD that motivated me to study harder before taking the quiz. The payoff for me is my faith is supported not only by the Bible, but also by historical evidence pertaining to Jesus. The course in Apologetics 202 (New Testament) gave me more historical and archaeological evidence in addition to the Bible on which to base my faith. Also I discovered there is so much to glean from the writings of the early church fathers as well. There is so much knowledge packed in this course that can be used in Bible study long after completing it. It is has been well worth the effort.

Debating someone about the faith in terms of Science or out of their Facebook ignorance is not something I will engage in. I really appreciate the things I will need to be aware of though when confronted by someone who is a skeptic or an academic. The thing I have learned most from the two Apologetic courses is it's ok to say let me look into it. To drill down to the root of their questions, to see the Spirit with which the questions are asked, and what their agenda is. I Box and there is a saying, "You don't hook with a hooker." It applies to Apologetics. As an Apologist I will do a lot of jabbing (questions, questions, questions.). Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me in my quest to grow my faith.
